We believe in heaven! I hear it all the time, “I wish the Lord would come back.” Of course, we do. This is our hope! Yet, at the same time, we have such an affinity for this earth that we will do anything, even deplete our savings, just to extend this life a little longer.
We are of this life “earthy,” drawn to the dirt from which we were created. Our kinship is revealed in death, as this body soon returns to dust. Our prospect, however, is not dim. We have a spiritual body awaiting us. So, when you face the monarch of death, don’t fear! You will triumph over him!
