I have been looking into my family history and have gone back several hundred years. (Not that it will do any good, for the future is most important.) While doing this, I began to think about my spiritual lineage.
The Scriptures reveal that every Christian can trace their descent…
…past earthly parentage — “not of blood;”
…past instinct or desire — “not of the will of the flesh;”
…past our own volition — “not of the will of man; ”
…but to the self-determination of God’s grace.
This means you are a wanted child, a child chosen and adopted into the Family with all inherent rights and benefits. To Him be glory forever!!! AMEN.
