Here I am sitting at my desk, reading once again about the humiliation and suffering of our Lord Jesus. I am thoroughly convinced that we are seeing here the greatest miracle of His ministry. Holder of all the real estate in heaven and earth, embraced by God, worshipped by angels, He yields to this humiliation. Now the miracle – with power to destroy them all with a word or sweep of His hand, He was as a lamb. What man among any of us, having that power, would not have used it? Jesus overcame His humanity to become our Savior.
