This Kind Of Faith – 06.26.2024

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).

Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the persuasion or conviction of things not seen. This kind of faith is not of the natural man, but must be planted in the heart by the Holy Ghost.

We are led to the Scripture in which is revealed the promises of God. “Faith comes by hearing and hearing from the Word of God.” You cannot conjure up this faith or find it in any place else. A careful study of the Bible, reading God’s Word dealing with Bible characters, is a faith builder! Failure to study the Bible dims the eyes of faith. Some say, “faith is believing,” but with a Christian, believing is seeing. Looking into the Word of God, we are able to go from “faith to faith” and “glory to glory”!
